My 2026 fashion predictions!

HI CUTIES!!!! 

Thank you for reading my blog!! I am very thankful! 

By the time you read this, I'm going to be in the sky, on my way to spend the holidays with my family back in the States!! Yay for scheduled posting, hehehe 

Please know that while you are reading this, I am SCARED!! I HATE FLYING Since this is probably my last blog of the year, (no internet out at my families house... Yay, Arkansas!) 

I thought it would be fun to just list some fashion related predictions for the coming year! I would also love to hear your predictions or if you agree with mine! 

LETS GOOOOOO

1. A new 109 brand will debut, and I think it'll lean into the Himegyaru and Himekaji styles 
2. Balletcore and Gyaru will mix slightly and have some super cute designs Heisei Gyaru will continue to thrive, especially in the summer. 
3. A big fashion brand will do something really awful and everyone will boycott them 
4. A smaller brand will gain popularity and be THE MOMENT Liz Lisa brings back the 2010s vibes, slowly leaving the Jirai Kei scene. 
5. MA*RS will release wayyyyy more GAL leaning clothes than Jirai, but they'll continue to be huge in the Jirai scene 
6. DearMyLove (and/or their sister brands) will debut an IRL store location! 
7. Decora WILL have a huge moment! 
8. Harajuku shops will post more anti tourism signs 
9. Shibuya will be THE fashion hub again 
10. A big name designer will retire
11. A fashion brand will release a perfume, but it will be SOOOOOO stink 
12. Fashion blogging will be in again Instagram will block hashtag JiraiKei for a while 
13. A TikTok or Instagram influencer is going to start beef with the jfashion community as a whole 
14. Gyaru will be a mainstream trend this spring\summer even in non jfashion spaces 
15. One brand will def do a Labubu collab 
16. Vina Of the Valley, or another beloved independent brand will have more pop up events 
17. Every one of you will continue to be the cutest again this year!!
