Hot Gyaru Summer

It's been awhile! Sorry for being gone for so long!! Life outside of fashion got a bit ~crazy~ for me, but I'm back now!😉

Hope you are all doing super well and having the most fashionable summer ever!!

Since I was gone most of the summer season, why don't we discuss some of my favorite summer drops??🌞

Summer 2025 has truly been one of my fashion favorites! With the emphasis on throwback gal vibes, I feel like I'm in Y2K heaven!!

One brand that I feel really came in and set the standard for fun, flowy himekaji summer is a brand we all know I love to yap about, Vina of the Valley!🌺🌸

With these Himegyaru inspired heels and himekaji inspired platforms you can truly live your best sparkly gal life!

Can’t forget these layered bloomers! You can style them sooo many ways! 

Hoping to snag me some along with the shoes!!

As I have said before, I could yap about Vina of the Valley all day! 

This brand is one I’ve followed since the beginning and seeing where they’re at now, I can’t say I’m surprised. Such a talented designer rightfully getting the attention they deserve.

I feel that Vina of the Valley has truly become THE brand when people think about girly alt style. 

I really think this summer's designs are so elegant and fun. I feel almost nostalgic looking at all the new designs. I really hope to get my grubby lil hands on these items ASAP!

Vina, please keep blessing us with these amazing designs!

This next brand is becoming ICONIC with their vintage gyaru leopard aesthetic!

A brand I’ve been watching for a little while now, stunned is an UNDERSTATEMENT for how i feel about Cherriette's new summer collection!

As you can see, they are bringing it ALL for Hot Gyaru Summer!! 

Babydoll dresses, ruffley jean skirts, loose cami tops, ruffled bloomers, and all in their signature leopard print (in both pink and classic brown)! They devoured!! 

I look forward to seeing next seasons designs.

If you have read any of my previous blog posts, you would know there is another brand I LOVE to talk about, and that is DearMyLove. Today we wont be talking about DML, but one of their sister brands, Daible Baiser. 

This brand is a classic. If you have ever read EGG, the gyaru magazine, you have def heard of them.

Personally I love the jean and flannel skirt, I actually own it, and it got many compliments when i was shopping around Harajuku!

Special shoutout to the man who was shopping when his wife quietly said "oh wow look at her skirt!" and he told me "LOVE your skirt! Very cute!" That exchange stayed with me all day! (maybe because I got nervous and just blurted out "OMG THANK YOU!!!! IT'S NEW!!!" why would i say that?? What is wrong with me??) ... Anyway, ramble over!

(Unfortunately I did have to cut out the built in shorts because they were a bit uncomfy, but that was just personal pref.)

I also own these iconic pink leopard pants, and this cute flower top! They both fit great and are comfy enough to be travel clothes!!

And what type of gal would I be if I didnt talk about D.I.A coming back?? Iconic revival!

Personally there isn't anything in their new collection pink enough for me to be adding to my own wardrobe, but I’m eager to see all of you cuties slaying in it!

And finally, let's talk about a brand I love so dearly, but I have mixed feelings about this summer.

Liz Lisa, she is THAT girl! We all know her, we all love her!

This summer Liz Lisa added a larger size to their collection, which is HUGE (stay tuned for my next blog where I  talk about plus sizing in Jfashion... again.)

I am soooooo happy to see Liz Lisa adding more sizes and hope they continue to do so!!

I believe thats the only way they can continue to stick around.

Now to why I'm a little dissappointed...

A while back Liz Lisa dropped this dress, low key reminiscent of 2010s himekaji. I am obsessed. I love it! 

They also changed their profile photo on Intsta from the plain logo to a very 2010s-ish himekaji vibesy pic of their logo.

 I was SOOOOOOOO excited for more florals and himekaji vibes but it seems, judging by her new mid summer collection, shes still in her jirai kei and ryosangata era. which I still adore! Don’t get me wrong, she is always iconic, I was just hoping to see maybe some more Hime inspired looks. 

...Maybe for the autumn season?👀
